KEGIATAN MENGGUNTING SEBAGAI KEGIATAN PEMBELAJARAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTORIK HALUS ANAK USIA DINI

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze scenarios and implementations, teacher and child responses as well as obstacles faced by teachers and children in improving fine motor skills in early childhood through the cutting method in group A at TKQ Hidayatul Mubtadiin. Descriptive research with a qualitative approach was chosen for this research method. The subjects of this study were 6 children in group A, namely 3 girls and 3 boys. Principals and teachers of group A as informants. Interviews, observations, and documentation studies were used as data collection tools. The results of the implementation of the opening, core, and closing stages in learning cutting activities for children in group A, the core activities for 6 meetings have been effective and children can master the material well. The results of the assessment and evaluation of children showed that the results of the achievement of fine motor development of the child developed and improved in these activities, of the 6 children studied 5 children developed according to expectations (BSH) in the three indicators studied while 1 child in the second indicator showed that they were starting to develop (MB) ), this has proven a positive response from teachers and children in cutting activities. The obstacle faced during learning through cutting activities is the lack of interest of children in the material being taught because some children are afraid of getting their hands hit by scissors.Penelitian ini bertujuanmendeskripsikan dan menganalisis skenario dan implementasi, respon guru dan anak serta kendala yang dihadapiguru dan anak dalam meningkatkan motorik halus anak usia dini melalui metode mengguntingpada kelompok A diTKQ Hidayatul Mubtadiin. Penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatifyang dipilih dalam metode penelitian ini. Subjek penelitian ini anak usia 4-5 tahunsebanyak 6 anak yaitu 3 anak perempuan dan 3 anak laki-laki. Kepala Sekolah serta guru kelompok A sebagai informan. Wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi dijadikan sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Hasil implementasi tahap pembukaan, inti dan penutup dalam pembelajaran kegiatan menggunting pada anak usia 4-5 tahun, pada kegiatan inti selama 6 pertemuan sudah berjalan efektif dan anak mampu menguasai materi dengan baik. Hasilpenilaian dan evaluasi terhadap anak diperoleh hasil pencapaian perkembangan motorik halus anak tersebut berkembang dan meningkat dalam kegiatan tersebut, dari 6 anak yang diteliti 5 anak berkembang sesuai harapan (BSH) dalam tiga indikator yang diteliti sedangkan 1 anak dalam indikator kedua menunjukkan mulai berkembang (MB),hal ini sudah membuktikan adanya respon positif dari guru dan anak dalam kegiatan menggunting.Kendala yang dihadapi pada saat pembelajaran melalui kegiatan menggunting adalah kurangnya minat anak terhadap materi yang diajarkan, karena sebagian anak ada yang takut tangannya terkena gunting.
