The aim of the research was to improve learning outcomes in mathematics learning through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, increasing learning outcomes in science, theme 5, sub-theme of the struggle of the heroes of PB 1 Class IV SD Negeri 6 Bilalang. The method used in the form (PTK) consists of 4 stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection used in two cycles. The research subjects were 13 grade IV students of SD Negeri 6 Bilalang, consisting of 6 female students and 7 male students. This study used observation and test data collection techniques. The results of the data research show that learning outcomes when action is carried out increase. This increase is shown from the results of the analysis obtained from the average value in cycle I, which is 65.38% and cycle II, 93.07% so that it has increased so that the implementation of the action can be said to be successful. Based on the results of research conducted in class IV SD Negeri 6 Bilalang, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Theme 5 in class IV SD Negeri 6 Bilalang.
