<![CDATA[Spelling errors are one of the types of language errors in written language. It was found that many students seemed to have difficulty when they had to write. Students do not know what to do when learning to write begins. They sometimes have difficulty using the correct spelling in the essay. Students often experience blank paper syndrome. This study aims to analyze and then describe; Analysis of Indonesian Spelling Errors in Writing Narrative Essays for Fifth Grade Students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Wathoniyah 1 Duren Sawit. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Informants in this study were teachers, and students. Methods of data collection is done by using interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that there were many spelling errors in capital letters because students did not understand Indonesian subjects.
