This study discusses learning strategies regarding the application of Islamic religious education as an effort to form the Muslim personality of Islamic students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to get an overview of the learning strategies of Islamic Religious Education. The approach used in this study is management, pedagogical, sociological, and psychological approaches. The data collected in this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by conducting interviews with informants, namely Islamic Religious Education teachers. While the secondary data is in the form of school profiles, theories about the concept of learning strategies, Islamic religious education, and the formation of Muslim personalities. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that the learning strategies of Islamic Religious Education in the formation of the Muslim personality of students used two learning strategies, namely direct learning and indirect learning.
