<![CDATA[Based on the preliminary research and observation to the fifth grade students at SDN 07 Kauman in Pasaman Regency, it shown the students’ outcomes was low caused most of the teachers still used conventional method in learning. So, that’s way the author would like to improve their outcomes in learning Science through Student Team Achivement Division (STAD) method. The purpose of this study was to describe the students’ improvement in learning Science through STAD. This research was Classroom Action Research used qualitative and quantitative approach. This research has been done in two cycles completed by the planning, action, reflection, and students’ outcomes. Based on the research, it concluded that the student’s learning outcome has improved, it sho wn from the result of the teacher’s and students’ activities, as described: in designing lesson plann was 71% (cycle I), increased to 85% (cycle II); the teacher’s activities was 71% (cycle I), increased to 89% (cycle II); the students’ activities was 69.5% (cycle I), increased to 89% (cycle II); while the students’ learning outcomes was 60,56 (cycle I), increased to 85% (cycle II).
