This study aims to describe the improvement of thematic integrated learning process in theme 1 with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The approach used is qualitative and quantitative approaches. The type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The technique used was observation and testing. The results of the research from the planning perspective showed that there was an increase from the first cycle, namely that the steps contained in the lesson plans had not been carried out, increasing in cycle II, each of the steps in the lesson plans had all been implemented in implementation. In the learning process, it was seen that there was an increase in teacher activity from the first cycle whose average achievement was 74.85%, increasing to 96.8% in the very good category (SB) in cycle II. Also seen an increase in student activity from cycle I whose average achievement was 79.5%, increasing to 96.8% in the very good category (SB) in cycle II.
