PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GUIDED DISCOVERY MAPEL PENDIDIKAN AGAMA KRISTEN DAN BUDI PEKERTI DI SMPN 1 MANTIAT PARI

The purpose of this study is to describe the use of guided Discovery learning methods in increasing the understanding and interest of students in the subjects of Christian religious education and ethics. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII (eight) semester I totaling 15 people. This research uses a qualitative métode with a case study approach. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the average score of Christian religious education (PAK) and ethics lessons and the number of students who scored more than minimum completion criteria (KKM). Pthere is cycle I the average value of learners is 78, in cycle II the average value increases to 82 and in cycle III the average value of learners is 85. The percentage of students completed in cycle I was 73.33%, cycle II was 86.67% and cycle III was 100%. This shows that the use of guided discovery methods is effective in increasing the interest and achievement of students in the subjects of Christian religious education (PAK) and ethics. ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan metode pembelajaran guided Discovery dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan minat peserta didik mata pelajaran pendidikan agama kristen dan budi pekerti. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII (delapan) semester I yang berjumlah 15 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan métode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan untuk nilai rerata pelajaran pendidikan agama kristen (PAK) dan budi pekerti dan jumlah peserta didik yang mendapatkan nilai lebih dari kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM). Pada siklus I nilai rerata peserta didik adalah 78, pada siklus II nilai rerata meningkat menjadi 82 dan pada siklus III nilai rerata peserta didik adalah 85. Persentase jumlah peserta didik yang tuntas pada siklus I sebesar 73,33%, siklus II sebesar 86,67% dan siklus III sebesar 100%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode guided discovery efektif dalam meningkatkan minat dan prestasi peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan agama Kristen (PAK) dan budi pekerti.
