UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL DAN PROSES BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI.IPA1 SMA N 3 TEBO DENGAN MENERAPKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING

This study aims to improve the results and learning processes of class XI IPA 1 SMAN 3 Tebo by applying the discovery learning model. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects used in research on the application of the Discovery Learning learning model to improve biology learning outcomes and processes were students of class XI.IPA1 at SMA N 3 Tebo with a total of 36 students consisting of 11 male students and 25 female students. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the Jigsaw model can improve student learning outcomes in the teaching and learning process. Thus the use of the Discovery Achievement model of students studying Excretion in class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Tebo Regency. By comparing the absorption power of students in cycles I, II, III, it can be seen that there was a decrease in the number of students who failed (value 0-60), namely 90.9% in cycle I, 39.4% in cycle II and in cycle III 9.1%, meaning that there was a decrease action failure. While the increase in the number of students who scored (61 – 100) was 9.1% in cycle I, to 60.6% in cycle II and 91% in cycle III, meaning that there was an increase in the success of the action on the material Bacteria in Biology class X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Tebo Regency ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil dan proses belajar siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 3 Tebo dengan penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian tentang penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning untuk meningkatkan hasil dan proses belajar biologi adalah siswa kelas XI.IPA1 di SMA N 3 Tebo yang berjumlah 36 siswa yang terdiri dari 11 siswa laki-laki dan 25 siswa perempuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar. Dengan demikian penggunaan model Discoveri Prestasi siswa mempelajari Ekresi pada manisia kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Kabupaten Tebo. Dengan Membandingkan daya serap siswa pada siklus I, II, III terlihat terjadi penurunan jumlah siswa yang gagal ( nilai 0 – 60) yaitu 90.9 % pada siklusI,39,4 % pada siklus II dan pada siklus III 9,1 % , artinya terjadi penurunan kegagalan tindakan. Sedangkan peningkatan jumlah siswa yang berhasil nilai ( 61 – 100) yaitu 9,1 % pada siklus I, menjadi 60,6 % pada siklus II dan 91 % pada siklus III, artinya terdapat peningkatan keberhasilan tindakan pada materi Bakteri mata pelajaran Biologi kelas X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Kabupaten Tebo.
