Peranan Kepala Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Ciamis Dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Kerja Pegawai

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the head of the Office of Religious Affairs in Ciamis District in increasing employee motivation. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study approach, data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that in carrying out his role as a leader, the head of the Office of Religious Affairs in the Ciamis District is good enough based on five dimensions, namely physiological needs, there are still shortcomings in the work space of employees, so it must be considered. Then the indicators of security needs still have to be considered in terms of absenteeism because in addition to affecting employee benefits, it hampers employee discipline. In terms of social needs, it is good enough, but the head of the religious affairs office must pay more attention to his employees who are still lazy and only fill in absences. For the needs of the award, the head of the religious affairs office in the Ciamis sub-district always gives rewards to his employees who excel. So that employees can be motivated from the role of their superiors. And lastly, in terms of self-actualization needs, the head of the religious affairs office always promotes his employees who have the potential to improve the employee's career path. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peranan kepala Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Ciamis dalam meningkatkan motivasi pegawai. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam menjalankan perannya sebagai pemimpin, kepala Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Ciamis sudah cukup baik yang didasari lima dimensi yaitu kebutuhan fisiologis masih terdapat kekurangan dari ruangan kerja para pegawai, sehingga harus dapat diperhatikan. Lalu indicator kebutuhan keamanan masih harus diperhatikan dalam hal absensi karena selain mempengaruhi tunjangan para pegawai, menghambat kedisiplinan para pegawai. Dalam kebutuhan social sudah cukup baik, tetapi kepala kantor urusan agama harus memperhatikan lagi terhadap pegawainya yang masih bermalas-malasan dan hanya mengisi absen saja. Untuk kebutuhan penghargaan kepala kantor urusan agama Kecamatan Ciamis ini selalu memberikan reward terhadap pegawainya yang berprestasi. Sehingga para pegawai dapat termotivasi dari peran atasannya. Dan yang terakhir dalam kebutuhan aktualisasi diri kepala kantor urusan agama selalu mempromosikan pegawainya yang memiliki potensi agar dapat meningkatkan jenjang karir pegawai tersebut.
