<![CDATA[This research aimed at analysing whether the use of Numbered Head Together (NHT) technique in improving students’ writing ability based on the experts and some previous studies. Library research was used as the method of this research. NHT is a cooperative learning that aims to increase students’ writing ability by using four steps; numbering, submitting questions, collective thinking, and answering. The data for this research were obtained from previous works of the other researchers and some literature sources include books, journals, articles, and other relevant data sources. The data analysis technique includes the process of data identification from relevant literature sources, determining where the data is located, obtaining the data, evaluating the data, and incorporating the data into the research presentation. The result of the analysis from all the sources showed that the use of NHT can improve students’ writing ability and the aspects of writing such as content, organization, vocabulary, grammar, and mechanic. ]]>
