ABSTRAKManajemen coaching dalam penyelenggaraan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi, khususnya dalam bimbingan akademik bertujuan mendorong inisiatif, memberikan penghargaan, dan menstimulasi kreativitas mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian: mengetahui efektivitas model manajemen coachingbimbingan akademik terhadap indeks prestasi (IP) mahasiswa. Metode: Desain penelitian quasi experiment.  Sampel dipilih dengan tehnik purposive sampling sejumlah 30 orang mahasiswa dari Jurusan Keperawatan Poltekkes Kemenkes Mataram di kelas Mataram sebagai kelompok perlakuan dan 30 orang mahasiswa dari Jurusan Keperawatan Poltekkes Kemenkes Mataram di kelas Bima sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data menggunakan IP semester II dan semester III. Intervensi yang dilakukan ialah pembimbingan akademik berdasarkan manajemen coaching untuk kelompok perlakuan dan metode konvensional untuk kelompok kontrol selama 1 semester.  Analisis data untuk menguji perbedaan efektivitas kedua kelas tersebut menggunakan uji independet t-test dengan tingkat kemaknaan α:0,05. Hasil: Terdapat perbedaan efektivitas pencapaian nilai sesudah penerapan model manajemen coaching di kelas Mataram dan metode konvensional di kelas Bima dengan hasil p value 0,000. Diskusi: Manajemen coachingdapat membangun komunikasi yang intens dengan mahasiswa, semakin coach memiliki hubungan yang dekat dengan coachee maka akan timbul kepercayaan sehingga tujuan bersama akan lebih cepat tercapai. Saran: Diharapkan penelitian terkait pembimbingan akademik dengan pendekatan manajemen coaching dapat dilakukan dengan sampel yang lebih besar. Kata Kunci: indeks prestasi, manajemen coaching Effectiveness of Academic Guidance Coaching Management Model on Nursing Department Students' Grade Point Average ABSTRACTCoaching management in implementing the Three Pillars of Higher Education, especially in academic guidance, aims to encourage initiative, provide rewards, and stimulate student creativity. Objective: To identify the effectiveness of the academic guidance coaching management model on students’ grade point average (GPA). Methods: This research employed a quasi-experimental research design. Samples were selected using the purposive sampling technique, consisting of 30 students from the Nursing Department of Poltekkes Kemenkes Mataram in the Mataram class as the treatment group and 30 students from the Nursing Department of the Poltekkes Kemenkes Mataram in the Bima class as the control group. The data used GPAs from semester II and semester III. The interventions carried out were academic guidance based on coaching management for the treatment group and conventional methods for the control group for 1 semester. Data analysis to test the differences in the effectiveness of the two classes used an independent t-test with a significance level of α:0.05. Results: There was a difference in the effectiveness of attaining grades after applying the management coaching model in the Mataram class and the conventional method in the Bima class with a p-value of 0.000. Discussion: Coaching management can build intense communication with students. The more the coach has a close relationship with the coachee, the more trust will develop so that common goals will be achieved more quickly. Suggestion: It is expected that research on academic guidance with a management coaching approach can be conducted with a larger sample.Keywords: grade point average, management coaching
