<![CDATA[ABSTRACTData from the Ministry of Health in 2013 showed that Bali was ranked third in HIV / AIDS in Indonesiaand Denpasar is the highest ranked city with HIV / AIDS case in Bali. Bali is an island that is famousas a tourist destination so that there are many entertainment venues including nightclubs such as,cafes, discos, and karaoke that are vulnerable to sex transactions. Female sex workers are dividedinto two types, they are direct and indirect sex workers. Female sex workers do not directly sellthemselves independently and covertly. HIV / AIDS transmitted through risky sex and changingpartners. The research using qualitative methods with the design of the case study was conductedwith the aim to find out the description of the behavior of female indirect sex workers in nightclubsrelated to the high HIV / AIDS in Denpasar. The description of this behavior concerns thecharacteristics of the informant, the perceptions of the informant, the drive to act, and the motivesof the informant to plunge into the prostitution. The results of in-depth interviews with informantsbroadly showed that all informants showed positive behavior towards the spread of HIV / AIDS.Keyword: behavior, indirect female sex worker, nightclubs, HIV/AIDSABSTRAKData dari Dinas Kesehatan pada Tahun 2013 menunjukkan bahwa Bali menduduki peringkatketiga HIV/AIDS di Indonesia dan Denpasar adalah kota dengan HIV/AIDS tertinggi di Bali. Balimerupakan pulau yang terkenal sebagai destinasi wisata sehingga banyak tersedia tempat hiburantermasuk tempat hiburan malam seperti club malam, café, discotic, dan karaoke yang rawan sebagaitempat transaksi seks. Wanita pekerja seks terbagi atas dua jenis yaitu wanita pekerja seks langsungdan wanita pekerja seks tidak langsung. Wanita pekerja seks tidak langsung menjajakan dirinyasecara mandiri dan terselubung. Penularan HIV/AIDS salah satunya adalah dengan melakukanhubungan seks berisiko dan bergonta-ganti pasangan. Penilitian menggunakan metode kualitatifdengan rancang bangun studi kasus ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui gambaranperilaku wanita pekerja seks tidak langsung di tempat hiburan malam terkait tingginya HIV/AIDS diDenpasar. Gambaran perilaku ini menyangkut karakteristik informan, persepsi informan, doronganuntuk bertindak, dan motif informan untuk terjun ke dunia prostiusi. Hasil dari wawancara secaramendalam dengan informan secara garis besar menunjukkan bahwa seluruh informan menunjukkanperilaku positif terhadap penyebaran HIV/AIDS.Kata kunci : perilaku, wanita pekerja seks tidak langsung, tempat hiburan malam, HIV/AIDS.]]>
