UPAYA PEMBENTUKAN PERILAKU PEDULI LINGKUNGAN SISWA MELALUI SEKOLAH ADIWIYATA DI SMP NEGERI 28 SURABAYA

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya pembentukan perilaku peduli lingkungan dan hambatan yang dialami sekolah serta cara mengatasinya di SMP Negeri 28 Surabaya.Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukanmelalui pengamatan, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menyimpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya sekolah meliputi (1) integrasi materi lingkungan ke dalam semua mata pelajaran dan di masukkan dalam RPP dan Silabus satu KD dalam satu semester; (2) melalui pengembangan diri berupa kegiatan rutin seperti program SEMUT (Sejenak Memungut), daur ulang sampah, dua puluh satu POKJA (Program Kerja), Piket kelas; (3) kegiatan spontan seperti mengingatkan siswa tentang jadwal piket kelas maupun POKJA, berpartisipasi dalam undangan seminar tentang lingkungan hidup; (4) keteladanan seperti pemberian contoh perilaku peduli lingkungan dari pihak sekolah; (5) pengondisian meliputi tersedianya sarana dan prasarana, aturan tentang kebersihan makanan untuk pedagang kantin, pemberlakuan sanksi kepada siswa yang tidak menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekolah, memasang kreasi gambar siswa tentang penghematan energy; (6) SEMUT (Sejenak Memungut) dan delapan plus satu minus, Ekstrakurikuler KIR. Hambatan yang dihadapi pihak sekolah dalam membentuk perilaku peduli lingkungan pada siswa yang pertama, pergantian siswa setiap tahun ajaran baru, keadaan sosial ekonomi, kepedulian pendidik. Cara mengatasinya seperti, melakukan sosialisasi program baru terhadap peserta LOS maupun siswa kelas VIII & IX, mengawasi dan selalu mengingatkan perilaku siswa, mengikutsertakan guru dalam kegiatan workshop atau seminar bertema lingkungan secara bergilir, mengadakan workshop bertema lingkungan disekolah untuk siswa secara rutin. Kata Kunci : Upaya, Perilaku Peduli Lingkungan, Sekolah Adiwiyata Abstract The goal of this research describes the efforts to care for the establishment of the student’s environment behavior and also the obstacles which happened by school and how to overcome them in SMPN 28 Surabaya.This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive method.Data from this research be conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is to reduce the data, present the data, and concluded the data. The result shows that the effort of the school include (1)the integration of environmental material in all subjects and include in the RPP and Syllabus one KD in one semester; (2) through self-development program includes regular activities such as SEMUT (Sejenak Memungut) means for a moment picked up, waste recycling, twenty one Pokja ( Program Kerja) means work program, picket class; (3) spontaneous activity like to remind student and working group, participated in a seminar on environmental regulations; (4) exemplary care behaviors such as giving an example of the school environment; (5) a conditioning includes the availability of infrastructure, the rules on food hygiene for merchants canteen, sanctions to the student’s who do not maintain a healthy school environment, students put up a picture creations of energy savings; (6) SEMUT (Sejenak Memungut) means for a moment picked up and eight plus or minus one, KIR exttracuricular. The school has to face the barriers in buildings the behavior of environmental awareness for the students, first, turnover of the students in every studies new year, socioeconomic circumstances, caring educators. How to handle them, like to disseminate new programs to participants LOS and class VIII & IX, Supervise and always remind the student behaviour, teachers mixed up in a workshop or environment seminar in turn, held a school environment workshop for the students in routine.
