AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi sekolah dalam mengatasi kenakalan siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 6 Jombang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah semua guru di MAN 6 Jombang sebanyak 32 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, wawancara terstruktur, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Strategi sekolah dalam mengatasi kenakalan siswa dapat dilakukan melalui tindakan preventif, represif, dan kuratif. Hasil penelitian melalui angket menunjukkan bahwa strategi sekolah dalam mengatasi kenakalan siswa di MAN 6 Jombang melalui tindakan preventif, 66,7% menyatakan selalu, 21,9% menyatakan sering, 7,6% menyatakan kadang-kadang, dan 4,2% menyatakan tidak pernah. Melalui tindakan represif 32,81% guru menyatakan selalu, 48,44% menyatakan sering, 17,19% menyatakan kadang-kadang, dan 1,56% menyatakan tidak pernah. Sedangkan pada tindakan kuratif, 75,57% guru menyatakan selalu, 28,47% menyatakan sering, 5,4% menyatakan kadang-kadang, dan 0,57% menyatakan tidak pernah melakukan tindakan kuratif. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa dalam tindakan preventif ini dilakukan melalui kegiatan keagamaan seperti kegiatan sholat dhuhur berjama’ah di sekolah. Pada tindakan represif dilakukan dengan memberi hukuman tertentu pada siswa yang melakukan kenakalan. Sedangkan pada tindakan kuratif dapat dilakukan melalui tindak lanjut guru dan hubungan komunikasi antara sekolah dengan orang tua siswa.Kata Kunci: strategi sekolah, kenakalan siswaAbstractThis study aimed to describe the strategy of schools in addressing delinquency students in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 6 Jombang. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The subjects were all teachers at MAN 6 Jombang as many as 32 people. Technique data collecting through questionnaire, structured interviews, observation, and documentation. School strategies in addressing student misbehavior can be done through preventive measures, repressive and curative. Results of the study through questionnaires showed that the strategy in dealing with student misbehavior schools in MAN 6 Jombang through preventive measures, 66.7% said always, 21.9% stated often, 7.6% said sometimes, and 4.2% did not ever. Through repressive measures 32.81% of teachers stated always, 48.44% said often, 17.19% said sometimes, and 1.56% said never. While in the curative, 75.57% of teachers stated always, 28.47% said often, 5.4% said sometimes, and 0.57% said never perform curative action. Interviews showed that the preventive measures is done through religious activities such as afternoon prayers in congregation activities at school. In the repressive measures carried out by giving a certain penalty on students who do mischief. While on curative actions can be performed through a follow-up communication link between the teacher and the school with the parents.Key words: school strategies, student misbehavior
