The purpose of this study was to improve the ability to swim breaststroke through guided practice techniques in the PJOK Subject of Breaststroke Swimming Material. The research method used was guided practice with research subjects being students of class 9C MTs Negeri I Purbalingga consisting of 24 students who received treatment. The implementation of this classroom action research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The results obtained at the meeting become the end result of each cycle. The research was conducted in 2 cycles with 3 meetings in each cycle. If you look at the increase in learning outcomes in the form of performance from pre-cycle to cycle 1 and from cycle 1 to cycle 2, there is an increase in the percentage of completeness. In the pre-cycle there were students who did not complete 24 of the 37 students in class IXC. The incompleteness was caused by various problems, namely 2 students with depth phobia, 4 students who could not swim and 18 students who could not swim breaststroke. So from this background the research focused on 24 students who did not complete by being given treatment in the form of guided practice techniques. From the analysis obtained a significant increase from cycle 1 and cycle 2. The results of cycle 1 of 24 students who completed were 12 students or 50.0% with an average acquisition value of 65.83 and the category was sufficient. In cycle 2 there were 24 students who completed 19 or 79.19% and the average value was 73.75. As for those who have not completed, there are 5 students or 20.83%. These results indicate an increase from cycle 1 to cycle 2. Based on the results of the research, it was concluded that guided exercise techniques were effectively applied to improve learning outcomes in the form of swimming style practice in class IXC students at MTs Negeri 1 Purbalingga in the 2019/2020 academic year. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berenang gaya dada melalui teknik latihan terbimbing pada mata pelajaran PJOK Materi Renang Gaya Dada. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah latihan terbimbing dengan subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas 9C MTs Negeri I Purbalingga yang terdiri dari siswa 24 peserta didik yang mendapat perlakuan. Pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Hasil yang diperoleh pada pertemuan menjadi hasil akhir dari setiap siklus. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dengan tiap siklus 3 kali pertemuan. Jika dilihat kenaikan hasil belajar berupa unjuk kerja dari pra siklus ke siklus 1 dan dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2 terjadi kenaikan percentase ketuntasan. Pra siklus terdapat siswa yang tidak tuntas 24 siswa dari 37 siswa di kelas IXC. Ketidaktuntasan tersebut diakibatkan berbagai permasalahan yaitu 2 siswa phobia kedalaman, 4 siswa tidak dapat berenang dan 18 siswa tidak dapat berenang gaya dada. Maka dari latar belakang tersebut penelitian difokuskan pada 24 siswa yang tidak tuntas dengan diberikan perlakuan berupa teknik latihan terbimbing. Dari analisis diperoleh peningkatan yang signifikan dari siklus 1 dan siklus 2. Hasil siklus 1 dari 24 siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 12 siswa atau 50,0% dengan nilai perolehan rata-rata 65,83 dan kategori cukup. Pada siklus 2 siswa berjumlah 24 yang tuntas berjumlah 19 atau 79,19% dan nilai rata-rata 73,75. Adapun yang belum tuntas berjumlah 5 siswa atau 20,83%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh simpulan jika teknik latihan terbimbingi efektif diterapkan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar berupa praktek renang gaya pada siswa kelas IXC MTs Negeri 1 Purbalingga Tahun ajaran 2019/2020.
