Metode eksperimen dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan merancang tempat sampah edukatif dan persuasif untuk membentuk karakter cinta lingkungan pada siswa sekolah dasar di Kota Parepare. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Gerakan Peduli Lingkungan dan Budaya di Sekolah Dasar (PBLHS) yaitu Sekolah Dasar Negeri Adiwiyata. Negeri 71, Sekolah Adiwiyata Tingkat Provinsi SD Negeri 28, Sekolah Adiwiyata Tingkat Kota SD. Negeri 27, dan Sekolah Adiwiyata untuk Tingkat SD Mandiri. Negara 29 di Kota Parepare. Sampel penelitian adalah 71 siswa dari perwakilan populasi. Analisis yang digunakan menggunakan uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perancangan tempat sampah anak sekolah dasar yang dijadikan sampel mampu memberikan pengaruh terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap anak yang berkarakter cinta lingkungan sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesadaran anak sekolah dasar untuk membuang sampah pada tempatnya. tempat sampah yang disediakan.Kata kunci: Anak Sekolah Dasar, Rash can Design, Lingkungan Environmental love education is an important effort that can be done for the atitude and character of human resources to be more concerned about environmental cleanliness.The purpose of this study was to determine the design of the trash can to be educative and persuasive in shaping the character of love for the environment in case study children of elementary school students in Parepare City. The experimental method in this study was carried out by designing educational and persuasive trash bins to form the character of love for the environment for elementary school students in Parepare City. The population in this study were students of the Movement for Environmental Care and Culture in School Elementary Schools (PBLHS), namely the Adiwiyata National Elementary School.
