PENGARUH PROMOSI TERHADAP PENINGKATAN VOLUME PENJUALAN PADA ALFA STUDIO SEKAYU

Abstract

Abstract: This study was to determine the effect of promotion on sales volume at Alfa Studio Sekayu. This study uses quantitative methods, the data sources are primary data and secondary data by collecting data from questionnaires, interviews and documentation studies. All consumers who make transactions at Alfa Studio Sekayu as a population. With the Malhotra theory the sample was taken as many as 70 respondents. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, namely accidental sampling. The data processing technique uses the SPSS version 20 program. The results showed that promotion (X) had an effect on sales volume (Y). T of 0.000 <0.05 means that promotion has an effect on sales volume. In the coefficient of determination test (R2) 0.721, it means that the promotion variable affects sales volume by 72.1%, while the remaining 27.9% is influenced by variables not examined in this study. Abstrak: Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh promosi terhadap volume penjualan pada Alfa Studio Sekayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, sumber data yaitu data primer dan data skunder dengan teknik pengumpulan data kuesioner, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Semua konsumen yang melakukan transaksi pada Alfa Studio Sekayu sebagai populasi. Dengan Teori Malhotra sampel terambil sebanyak 70 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non probability sampling yaitu accidental sampling (sampel kebetulan). Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan program SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukan promosi (X) berpengaruh terhadap volume penjualan (Y) berdasarkan uji hipotesis, didapatkan nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 13,244 > 1.995 dan dikuatkan oleh sig. T sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 artinya promosi berpengaruh terhadap volume penjualan. Pada uji Koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,721 artinya variabel promosi mempengaruhi volume penjualan sebesar 72,1%, sedangakan sisanya 27,9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini
