<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the online New Student Admission System (PPDB) at SMPN 21 Batam in Batam City and to determine the factors that support and hinder its implementation. The research approach used to examine the effectiveness of the New Student Admission System (PPDB) at SMPN 21 Batam is qualitative. Data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. Admission of new students online is quite efficient, but when viewed from the effectiveness point of view, it is actually effective because there are still many people who do not understand the procedure for registering online. Based on the results of interviews conducted by researchers with several research informants, it can be seen that the community has been able to adjust to the online new student registration system. The continuation of PPDB online, it was concluded that the implementation or continuity of online PPDB at SMP Negeri 21 Batam is getting better, people are increasingly understanding.]]>
