ABSTRAK Tenaga kesehatan memainkan peran kunci dalam pemberian asuhan nutrisi sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting. Mendukung upaya tersebut diperlukan pendampingan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan melalui pelatihan. Pelatihan berbasis kompetensi yang dirancang sesuai standar praktik serta mempersiapkan tenaga kesehatan untuk melaksanakan tugas manajemen asuhan nutrisi professional. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kompetensi tenaga kesehatan dalam memberikan asuhan nutrisi sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting. Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui pelatihan dengan memberikan edukasi dan informasi tekait kompetensi tenaga kesehatan, risiko malnutrisi bayi serta asuhan nutrisi anak sehat di komunitas. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan selama enam bulan di Puskesmas Singkawang Utara 1. Populasi pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah tenaga kesehatan sejumlah 20 orang. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan dengan p value = 0,002 dan keterampilan dengan p value = 0,001. Kesimpulan Metode pelatihan kompetensi asuhan nutrisi anak dapat terbukti bermanfaat dan meningkatkan kompetensi secara pengetahuan dan keterampilan tenaga kesehatan dalam upaya pencegahan risiko malnutrisi di komunitas. Peningkatan kompetensi tenaga kesehatan melalui pelatihan sebagai upaya continue program development (CPD) dapat dijadikan regulasi Puskesmas. Supporting these efforts requires assistance to improve knowledge and skills through training.Competency-based training designed according to practice standards and preparing health workers to carry out professional nutrition care management tasks. The purpose of community service is to increase the competence of health workers in providing nutritional care as an effort to prevent stunting. The method of community service is through training by providing education and information regarding the competence of personnelhealth, risk of infant malnutrition and nutrition care for healthy children in the community. This community service was carried out for six months at the North Singkawang Health Center 1. The population for this community service was 20 health workers. The results of community service show that there are differences in knowledge before and after training with a p value = 0.002 and skills with a p value = 0.001. Conclusion Competency training methods for child nutrition care can prove to be useful and increase the knowledge and skill competence of health workers in efforts to prevent the risk of malnutrition in the community. Improving the competence of health workers through training as an effort to continue program development (CPD) can be used as a public health service regulation.
