<![CDATA[Tulisan ini merupakan gambaran umum penelitian yang memberikan gambaran ringkas mengenai bagaimana pemahaman secara umum tentang eksklusivisme dan radikalisme, bagaimana pemahamannya dalam al-Quran serta pendekatan-pendekatan lainnya serta bagaimana peran PAI dalam upaya menghadapi tantangan radikalisme tersebut. Dari kecenderungan radikalisme, baik yang ada dalam al-Quran maupun fakta yang terjadi di lapangan dan di tengah-tengah masyarakat, semuanya mengarah atau berhadapan antara Islam di satu pihak dan non-Islam di lain pihak, maka dapat disimpulkan apabila faham dan sikap demikian justru diterapkan dalam konteks internal Islam seperti memberi label sesat, kafir dan jenis-jenis eksklusivisme dan kurang toleran terhadap perbedaan yang menyangkut persoalan cabang keagamaan atau khilafiyah di dalam satu agama merupakan sesuatu yang destruktif. This paper is a resume of research that provides a brief overview of how the general understanding of exclusivism and radicalism, how it is understood in the Qur'an and other approaches and how the role of PAI in the effort to face the challenge of radicalism. From the tendency of radicalism, both in the Qur'an and the facts that occur in the field and in the midst of society, all lead or face between Islam on the one hand and non-Islam on the other, it can be concluded if such ideals and attitudes precisely applied in the internal context of Islam such as labeling heresy, kafir and other types of exclusivism and less tolerant of differences concerning the issue of religious or khilafi branch in one religion is destructive. Islam teaches ukhuwah values in the midst of diversity, togetherness in diversity and compete in goodness (fastabiqul khoirat) to the pleasure of God.]]>
