<![CDATA[AbstractIn this thesis, the author raises the issue of Legal Protection for Workers for Excess Working Hours Case Study at CV. AR. The Archipelago of Pontianak City. Today, problems related to employment often occur even though the regulations governing employment have been enacted. As one of the problems that often occurs is the violation of hours or overtime working hours that are not in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Manpower Act. Violations of labor problems related to working hours that are not in accordance with the laws and regulations often occur in companies engaged in industry that are pursuing targets in their production business.The formulation of the problem in this study is "How is the legal protection for excess working hours at CV. AR. Nusantara City Pontianak?”. The purpose of this study was to obtain data and information on the implementation of working hours at CV. AR. Nusantara Pontianak City, revealed the factors that cause excess working hours at CV. AR. Nusantara, Pontianak City, revealed the legal consequences of excess working hours at CV. AR. Nusantara Pontianak City and to disclose legal protection efforts for excess working hours at CV. AR. The Archipelago of Pontianak City. This research is an empirical legal research using a descriptive analysis approach. Collection of legal materials through the direct interview method.The results of this study, the implementation of legal protection for workers who exceed the overtime limit at CV. AR. Nusantara, has not been fully carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Manpower Act in Article 78 letter b, namely overtime work can only be done for a maximum of 3 hours in 1 day and 14 hours in 1 week. But CV. AR. Nusantara employs overtime workers sometimes up to 5 hours in 1 day. Even though there are violations of overtime hours, the implementation of legal protection for workers who work beyond the overtime limit has been carried out by CV. AR. Nusantara, namely by asking for the approval of workers who want to work overtime, fixed overtime wages, providing adequate rest opportunities, as well as providing compensation in the form of food and drinks when workers work overtime. Nusantara Kota Pontianak. Dewasa ini, masih sering terjadi masalah terkait ketenagakerjaan walaupun peraturan yang mengatur ketenagakerjaan sudah ditetapkan. Seperti salah satu masalah yang sering terjadi adalah pelanggaran jam atau waktu kerja lembur tenaga kerja yang tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan yang telah diatur dalam Undang-undang Ketenagakerjaan. Pelanggaran masalah tenaga kerja terkait waktu kerja yang tidak sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan ini sering terjadi di perusahaan-perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri yang sedang melakukan kejar target dalam usaha produksinya.Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “Bagaimana Perlindungan Hukum Atas Kelebihan Jam Kerja Di CV. AR. Nusantara Kota Pontianak?”. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan data dan informasi pelaksanaan jam kerja di CV. AR. Nusantara Kota Pontianak, mengungkapkan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kelebihan jam kerja di CV. AR. Nusantara Kota Pontianak, mengungkapkan akibat hukum atas kelebihan jam kerja di CV. AR. Nusantara Kota Pontianak dan untuk mengungkapkan upaya perlindungan hukum atas kelebihan jam kerja di CV. AR. Nusantara Kota Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum empiris dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analisis. Pengumpulan bahan hukum melalui metode wawancara secara langsung.Hasil penelitian ini, pelaksanaan perlindungan hukum bagi pekerja yang melebihi batas waktu lembur di CV. AR. Nusantara, belum sepenuhnya dilakukan sesuai dengan ketentuan dalam Undang-Undang Ketenagakerjaan pada Pasal 78 huruf b yaitu waktu kerja lembur hanya dapat dilakukan paling banyak 3 jam dalam 1 hari dan 14 jam dalam 1 minggu. Namun CV. AR. Nusantara memperkejakan lembur pekerjanya terkadang sampai 5 jam dalam 1 hari. Walaupun terdapat pelanggaran waktu jam kerja lembur, pelaksanaan perlindungan hukum terhadap pekerja yang bekerja melebihi batas waktu lembur sudah dilakukan oleh CV. AR. Nusantara, yaitu dengan meminta persetujuan pekerja yang ingin dilemburkan, upah kerja lembur yang ditetapkan, memberikan kesempatan istirahat yang cukup, maupun pemberian kompensasi berupa makanan dan minuman saat pekerja melakukan kerja lembur.
