One of the skills that must be possessed is literacy skills, where this ability will shape the knowledge of Indonesia's younger generation in facing the era of globalization. Various efforts have been made to develop students' scientific literacy abilities, as research has been conducted to develop scientific literacy by giving students training questions. The development of globalization and the world's free market apart from having a positive impact, namely demanding skills that must be mastered, also has a negative impact. The negative impact of the development of globalization is the rapid spread of culture. The rapid spread of culture that occurred in the era of globalization can be seen in the environment around us, where the younger generation of Indonesia prefers foreign culture to native Indonesian culture. This is a loud alarm that requires special attention to be addressed immediately.
