The type of quantitative research used is correlation with normality test data analysis and a simple linearity test that is attempted as a prerequisite for analysis and a t test to test the hypothesis. Respondents in this study were 65 class VII students of SMPN 11 Tegal who were taken using the Yamane formula. The results of this study prove that there is an influence between short form content on critical thinking skills based on the t test obtained by arithmetic results of .1912 and a significance number of 0.034.
