<![CDATA[Abstrak.Kakao merupakan tanaman tahunan yang menjadi salah satu komoditas unggulan di sektor perkebunan, yang menjadi andalan mata pencaharian masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi dan tingkat efisiensi produksi kakao di Kecamatan Bandar Baru Kabupaten Pidie Jaya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei menggunakan kuesioner pada 40 petani kakao di Kecamatan Bandar Baru Kabupaten Pidie Jaya. Model analisis yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linier Cobb Douglas dan Efisiensi Produksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor luas lahan, modal dan hama penyakit tanaman berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi sedangkan variabel tenaga kerja dan teknologi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi kakao. Nilai R2 sebesar 0,91%, ini menunjukkan bahwa keeratan hubungan antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikat sebesar 91% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 9% dijelaskan oleh faktor-faktor lain diluar model. Efisiensi faktor produksi 1 bahwa menunjukkan belum efisien.Oleh karena itu, diharapkan kepada para petani agar dapat meningkatkan hasil produksi usahatani kakao maka petani harus memperhatikan penggunaan teknologi dan penanggulangan terhadap serangan hama penyakit tanaman agar dapat menghasilkan produksi usahatani kakao yang tinggi.Kata Kunci: Usahatani, Kakao, Produksi, Efisiensi Abstract.Cocoa is an annual plant which became one of the main export commodities in the plantation sector, which becomes the people's livelihood. The purpose of this study to determine the factors that affect the production and efficiency level of cocoa production in the District of Bandar Baru Pidie Jaya Regency. The study was conducted by a questionnaire survey in 40 cocoa farmers in the sub-district of Bandar Baru Pidie Jaya Regency. The analysis model used is Regression Linier Cobb Douglas and Production Efficiency. The results showed that the factor of land area, capital and hpt (Plant Pests and Diseases) significantly affected the production while variable laborand technology did not significantly affect cocoa production. R2 value of 0.91%, this shows that the relationship between independent variables and the dependent variable of 91% while the remaining 9% is explained by other factors outside the model. Efficiency of production factors 1 that the show has not been efficient.
