<![CDATA[ABSTRAK : Tujuan studi ini untuk mengetahui legal standing dari kepala desa adat dalam mewaliki masyrakat dalam mengajukan gugatan class action serta menganalisis kedudukan kepala desa adat di pengadilan saat mengajukan gugatan. Metode yang digunkan dalam penelitian ini adalah normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan dan konseptual. Hasil dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa kepala desa adat memiliki legal standing untuk mewakili masyarakat adatnya hal ini sesuai dengan UU Desa dan Perda 4 Tahun 2019 tentang Desa Adat Bali, dan mengenai kedudukan kepala desa adat adalah sebagai wakil kelompok khusunya msyarakat adat yang bersangkutan hal ini sesuai dengan Perma 1 Tahun 2002 tentang Acara Gugatan Perwakilan Kelompok. Kata Kunci: Kepala Desa Adat, Gugatan, Perwakilan Kelompok, Perwakilan Class ABSTRACT : The purpose of this study is to determine the legal standing of the customary village head in representing the community in filing a class action lawsuit and to analyze the position of the customary village head in court when filing a lawsuit. The method used in this study is normative with a statutory and conceptual approach. The results of this study indicate that the customary village head has legal standing to represent his customary community, this is in accordance with the Village Law and Regional Regulation 4 of 2019 concerning Balinese Traditional Villages, and regarding the position of the customary village head is as a representative of the group, especially the customary community concerned, this is in accordance with Perma 1 of 2002 concerning Events for Group Representative Lawsuits.
