<![CDATA[Government Regulation Number 21 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Spatial Planning, has provided a new dimension for Regional Governments in terms of implementation of spatial planning which currently includes 6 aspects which include: (1) Spatial Planning, (2) Spatial Utilization, (3) Spatial Utilization Control, (4) Spatial Planning Supervision, (5) Spatial Planning Development and (6) Spatial Planning Institutions. The Constellation of the Roles and Functions of the Purbalingga Regency DPRD towards the implementation of Spatial Planning can be optimized through 3 basic functions, namely the Legislative Function, Budget Function, and Oversight Function. In this research, the researcher aims to analyze how to optimize the DPRD's role in evaluating the suitability of space utilization in Purbalingga Regency. The research method uses qualitative methods. With the results of research on the evaluation of the results of the assessment of the level of spatial planning mismatch, namely 66.80 percent, it is necessary to revise the RTRW in 2020]]>
