<![CDATA[The purpose of writing this article is to find out about Al-Muqaddimah Ibn Khaldun: Relations between Islamic Education and Civilization. This research uses library research. The results of the study show that: 1) Education according to Ibn Khaldun has diverse and universal goals, including increasing the aspects of thinking and knowledge (al-janib al-fikri wa al-ilmi), social aspects (al-janib al-ijtima'i) , in terms of morals (al-janib al-akhlaqi) and physical aspects (al-janib al-jasadi) in addition to the pragmatic aspect (al-janib an-naf'i), 2) the majority of the population of Islamic countries agree to make the Koran 'an al-karim and several matn (texts) of hadith as the first disciplines learned by children, and 3) teaching methods through gradual (tadrij, gradual) and repetition (takrar, repetition), dialogue methods (al-hiwar) and discussion (al-munaqasa), travel methods and methods of teaching Arabic. Relevance with educational goals, curriculum, teaching methods are in accordance with Islamic civilization.]]>
