This research was appointed because we need to realize how important the role of multiculturalism is in social life. Multicultural society or diversity is a characteristic and an inseparable part of the life of the Indonesian people and nation. Multicultural education must be instilled early on in children so that children know how to interact with their environment and respect one another. Therefore, the role of schools is needed in developing multicultural education so that the ideals of diversity in diversity can be achieved. Schools as educational institutions should develop multicultural education so that students can appreciate the differences that occur in their environment so that community harmony can be realized.
