Peneliti adalah aset bangsa yang dapat mengungkap dan mencari jalan keluar dari masalah-masalah yang dihadapi bangsa Indonesia. Profesi peneliti makin diminati seiring dengan meningkatnya kesejahteraan bagi pejabat fungsional peneliti. Namun, hasil kerja peneliti seringkali digugat karena dianggap membuat kesimpulan penelitian yang cenderung untuk memenuhi keinginan pemesan penelitian. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk menggali pengaruh nilai-nilai empat pilar kebangsaan terhadap integritas peneliti dalam rangka memenuhi tanggung jawab dan pemenuhan kinerja sebagai Widyaswara Ahli Utama. Metode kajian adalah dengan menganalisis dan mensintesiskan pengaruh indikator-indikator nilai-nilai empat pilar kebangsaan dan integritas peneliti. Dari kajian terhadap pengaruh indikator-indikator nilai-nilai empat pilar kebangsaan dan integritas peneliti, disimpulkan bahwa secara teoretis nilai-nilai empat pilar kebangsaan berpengaruh kuat terhadap integritas peneliti. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penguatan penanaman nilai-nilai kebangsaan dalam diri para peneliti. Researchers are national assets to address the several problems in Indonesia. Nowadays, the number of people who work in research field have increased significantly, this situation probably caused due to the enhancement of welfare for the researchers. In contrast, the performance of researchers are tend to decrease, for example;the results of the work of researchers are often criticized by society due to the accountability matters. This condition may be happen because the researchers in this era are suspected making the research ,just only to fulfill the desire of the stakeholder. For that reason, this paper is trying to explore and review the influence of the values ​​of the four pillars of nationality to the integrity of researchers in terms of fulfilling their responsibilities and performance as a senior expert in order to make a better transformation. The research methodology that are used in this paper using analysis and synthesis the influence of the indicators of the values ​​of the four pillars of nationality to the researcher's integrity. From the result of this research.it concluded that the values ​​of the four pillars of nationality strongly influence the integrity of researchers. Therefore it is necessary to strengthen the inculcation of national values ​​in researchers.
