<![CDATA[Abstract: Giving tithes to the house of God is nothing new in the Christian faith. However, the emphasis on giving is still a polemic in the church. Some agree and some disagree because it is no longer the Old Testament era. However, in the analysis of this article, God's call to give tithes in the context of Malachi 3:6-12 is a very absolute emphasis in the context of the Israelites not tithing. At that time, God emphasized that they were considered to have robbed God. Therefore, they must turn back to God by forsaking their sins and bringing tithes into the house of God. The method used is to conduct a study of the literature, such as books or articles related to the text and context, and the results are described through a description of the meaning of words, phrases, or clauses in the text, then concluded to get answers to the purpose of God's call to tithe in the context of Malachi 3:6-12. Abstrak: Memberi persepuluhan ke dalam rumah Tuhan bukanlah hal baru dalam iman Kristen. Akan tetapi, penekanan untuk memberi masih menjadi polemik di dalam gereja. Ada yang setuju dan ada juga yang tidak setuju dengan alasan sudah bukan zaman Perjanjian Lama. Namun dalam analisis artikel ini, seruan Allah untuk memberi persepuluhan dalam konteks Maleakhi 3:6-12 merupakan suatu penekanan yang sangat mutlak dalam konteksnya bangsa Israel ketika tidak memberi persepuluhan. Pada saat itu Allah menegaskan bahwa mereka justru dianggap telah merampok Allah. Untuk itu, mereka harus berbalik kepada Allah dengan cara meninggalkan dosanya dan wajib membawa persepuluhan ke dalam rumah Tuhan. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan yakni melakukan kajian terhadap literatur seperti buku-buku atau artikel yang berkaitan dengan teks dan konteks dan hasilnya diuraikan melalui suatu deskripsi terhadap makna kata, frasa atau klausa yang ada di dalam teks, kemudian disimpulkan untuk mendapatkan jawaban atas maksud seruan Allah memberi perpuluhan dalam konteks Maleakhi 3:6-12.]]>
