<![CDATA[The principle of Christian marriage is monogamy and the union of two persons of the opposite sex. Not only that, but Christian marriage also does not deny the existence of problems resulting from two complexly different personalities regarding the economy, education, social strata, culture, and church beliefs backgrounds. The article aims to show that fundamentally the union of two people in a Christian marriage is complementary, so differences must be viewed positively and essentially. Using a descriptive method through a literature review, both in the form of books and journal articles, this research shows that complementarity will strengthen Christian marriage. AbstrakPrinsip pernikahan Kristen adalah monogami dan persatuan dari dua insan berlawan jenis kelamin. Tidak hanya itu, pernikahan kristiani juga tidak mengingkari adanya persoalan akibat dua pribadi yang berlainan secara kompleks, baik dalam hal ekonomi, pendidikan, strata sosial, budaya, hingga aliran gereja. Artikel bertujuan untuk menunjukkan bahwa secara fundamental persatuan kedua insan dalam pernikahan Kristen bersifat saling melengkapi, sehingga perbedaan harus dipandang secara positif dan esensial. Dengan mempergunakan metode deskriptif melalui kajian pustaka, baik dalam bentuk buku dan artikel jurnal, penelitian ini memperlihatkan konsep saling melengkapi akan memperkuat pernikahan Kristen.]]>
