<![CDATA[This study seeks to describe the significance of public information extension officers in remote, underprivileged, and frontier areas. Counseling's competency, method, means, content, and outcomes will be discussed in light of Laswell's communication theory. Through surveys of 399 respondents and conversations with 180 selected opinion leaders, information was gathered. The analysis was conducted using a combination of techniques. Results indicated that public information extension workers performed effectively, and the program's efficacy indicated that it was effective as well.
