<![CDATA[Current technological developments have an extraordinary impact on social media. The existence of social media can have positive and negative impacts depending on its use and utilization. If you misuse social media, there will be violations that are threatened with sanctions. This must be realized by the community as a form of public legal awareness in social media. In this almost digital era, there are still many social media violations. This certainly shows the low legal awareness of society. This low legal awareness is certainly caused by several things including a lack of understanding of the law, no matter what happens, feeling free and so on. Thus efforts are made to increase public legal awareness of the use of social media. These efforts can be carried out by the government and the community itself. For example, the government formed a Cyber Team to counter fake news or hoaxes. Providing education on the dangers of using social media that is too free. Likewise, the community must also understand the legal rules that prohibit negative social media. Prioritizing good communication interaction ethics in social media and not participating in spreading information that may harm others but filtering any information or news obtained on social media.]]>
