Abstract: A virgin is someone who has never had intercourse. Several cultures and religious traditions place virginity as an honor, which is generally carried by unmarried women. The concept of virginity usually involves moral or religious issues that impact social status and interpersonal relationships. According to Islamic law, virginity is a woman who has never had sexual intercourse either illegally (adultery) or legally (married), so this woman is called a virgin.This research is a normative juridical law research that uses primary data/legal material as the main data. The second data, secondary legal material, is data collected, processed and presented by other parties, which are usually in the form of publications or journals. In fact, even a virginity test cannot provide information about whether or not a woman is a woman. Moreover, even a gynecologist cannot find out a woman's virginity just by doing this procedure. Because the structure and elasticity of the hymen in every woman is different, and the hymen can change with age.Keywords: Virginity, Islamic Law, Health Sciences
