<![CDATA[The background of this research is the adjustment of the valve gap which can affect the performance of the motorcycle engine. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the effect of valve clearance adjustment on engine performance and to overcome valve gap adjustment errors. The research was conducted in a motorcycle workshop, on a 4 stroke 110 cc motorcycle engine using a quantitative and informative method approach. Data were obtained through literature research and factory determination, observation and interviews. Then Several customization steps are carried out at the implementation stage, starting with standard customization, over and under standard settings. The research results decide the standard setting. It is hoped that the implementation of the analysis of the influence of valve settings on motorcycle engines will become material for our knowledge.]]>
