<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan kotak akar pangkat tigadengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share. Jenis penelitian ini adalaheksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Godean.Adapun instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest, posttest dan angketmotivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa, pembelajaran matematikamenggunakan Kotak Akar Pangkat Tiga dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think PairShare efektif jika ditinjau dari motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa; pembelajaran matematikamenggunakan kotak akar pangkat tiga dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think PairShare lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional jika ditinjau darimotivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of cube root box with cooperativelearning model type Think Pair Share. This type of research is a quasi-experimental. Thepopulation in this study were eighth grade students of Godean 2 Public Junior High School. Theinstruments used in this study were pretest, posttest and the questionnaire of learning motivationof students. On the results of the study, it indicates that mathematical learning using the CubeRoot Box with the cooperative learning model of Think Pair Share is effective if it is viewed fromthe motivation and learning outcomes of students; mathematics learning using the cube root boxwith the cooperative learning model Think Pair Share is more effective than the conventionallearning model if viewed from the motivation and student learning outcomes.]]>
