The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes in class III science subjects at SD Negeri 115/IX Niaso . This research is classroom action research which was carried out in two cycles with each cycle consisting of three meetings from the aspects of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were class III students at SD Negeri 115/IX Niaso in science subject in academic year 2021/2022, there were 27 students, consisting of 14 male students and 13 female students. Data collection techniques were carried out using (post-test), observation sheets and documentation. The analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative data through observations during the learning process such as observation sheets, teacher and student activities, and quantitative data through learning outcome tests. The results of this research show that student learning outcomes in cycle I were 51.85%. In cycle II there was an increase of 77.7% and had achieved 70% learning completeness at the end of the cycle. So it can be concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method can improve learning outcomes for students in class III science subjects at SD Negeri 115/IX Niaso .
