ABSTRACT Early marriage has both psychological, economic and health impacts, showing that early marriage hinders the growth and development of children, both biologically and psychologically. The results of a preliminary study at SMP Negeri 2 Tanimbar Selatan found that in 2022 there were female students who dropped out of school due to early marriage (0.6%) and female students who became pregnant out of wedlock due to free sex in 2023 as many as 0.7%. The results of interviews with the Principal, several teachers and students of SMP Negeri 2 South Tanimbar have never been educated about early marriage and its impacts The aim of this research focuses on the knowledge of students at SMP Negeri 2 Tanimbar Selatan regarding the concept of early marriage and its impact through the Scientific Approach learning method. This research is experimental research, namely One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design with a sample size of 70 students (total sampling). Data collection techniques using questionnaires before and after the intervention. To analyze the data obtained from the research results, descriptive and inferential statistical analysis will be used There was an increase in the average student knowledge about early marriage from before the intervention (scientific learning), namely 66.43 to 74.93 after the intervention (scientific learning) and there was an influence of scientific learning by increasing knowledge about early marriage with a significance value of 0.000 <0.005. that there is an influence of Scientific approach learning on knowledge about early marriage and the impact is shown by an increase in the average score of students before and after the intervention. Keywords: Scientific Approach Learning, Early Marriage and Its Impacts, Knowledge ABSTRAK Pernikahan dini memiliki dampak baik secara psikologis, ekonomi, dan kesehatan menunjukkan bahwa pernikahan dini menghambat pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak, baik secara biologis maupun psikologis. Hasil studi pendahuluan di SMP Negeri 2 Tanimbar Selatan didapatkan pada tahun 2022 terdapat siswi yang putus sekolah akibat pernikahan dini (0,6%) dan siswi yang hamil di luar nikah akibat seks bebas pada tahun 2023 sebanyak 0,7%. Hasil wawancara dengan Kepala Sekolah, beberapa guru dan siswa SMP Negeri 2 Tanimbar Selatan belum pernah dilakukan edukasi pernikahan dini dan dampaknya. Tujuan penelitian ini berfokus pada pengetahuan siswa/i SMP Negeri 2 Tanimbar Selatan terkait konsep pernikahan dini dan dampaknya melalui metode pembelajaran Scientific Approach. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yaitu jenis One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design dengan jumlah sampel 70 siswa (total sampling). Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Untuk menganalisis data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian akan digunakan analisis statistik deskriptik dan infrensial. Terjadi peningkatan rata-rata pengetahuan siswa tentang pernikahan dini dari sebelum dilakukan intervensi (pembelajaran scientific) yaitu 66,43 mejadi 74,93 setelah intervensi (pembelajaran scientific) dan ada pengaruh pembelajaran scientific dengan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pernikahan dini dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 <0,005. adanya pengaruh pembelajaran Scientific approach terhadap pengetahuan tentang pernikahan dini dan dampaknya ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan rata-rata nilai siswa/I sebelum dan sesudah intervensi.
