<![CDATA[ABSTRACT Background: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a severe world problem, with cases increasing daily. To reduce the impact felt by the community, the government created policies and health protocols to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge about COVID-19 and compliance with health protocols in Jambi University students. Methods: This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design and data collection using questionnaires. Results: The majority of respondents were 21-23 years old (49.7%), female (65.4%), and students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (33,5%). Most respondents had less knowledge of COVID-19 knowledge (74.6%), most respondents did not comply with health protocol compliance (79.5%), and the chi-square statistical test results obtained a value of 0.025. Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge about COVID-19 and compliance with health protocols in Jambi University students. Keywords: COVID-19 Knowledge, Health protocols, Jambi University  ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) saat ini menjadi permasalahan dunia yang serius dengan jumlah kasus yang terus meningkat setiap harinya. Untuk mengurangi dampak yang dirasakan masyarakat, pemerintah menciptakan kebijakan protokol kesehatan untuk mencegah penularan dari COVID-19. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan tentang COVID-19 terhadap kepatuhan protokol kesehatan pada mahasiswa Universitas Jambi. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional dan pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil: Mayoritas responden berusia 21-23 tahun (49,7%), berjenis kelamin perempuan (65,4%), dan merupakan mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan. Responden paling banyak memiliki pengetahuan kurang tentang pengetahuan COVID-19 (74,6%), responden paling banyak tidak patuh terhadap kepatuhan protokol kesehatan (79,5%) dan hasil uji statistik chi-square diperoleh nilai 0,025. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan tentang COVID-19 terhadap kepatuhan protokol kesehatan pada mahasiswa Universitas Jambi.
