Abstract

Abstrak PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk, adalah perusahan yang memproduksi semen yang terletak di beberapa daerah di pulau Sumatera Selatan dan salah satu pabrik terbesarnya yaitu berada di daerah Baturaja, Ogan Komering Ulu. PT Semen Baturaja memiliki beberapa tahapan, yaitu: proses penambangan, proses penggilingan dan pengeringan bahan mentah, proses pembakaran raw meal, proses penggilingan klinker, dan proses pengantongan semen. Pada tahap penggilingan klinker terjadi di alat cement mill. Alat cement mill dibantu oleh mill fan yang berfungsi untuk mengenerate air flow dalam mill air flow sistem sehingga proses penggilingan, pengurangan moisture, pemisahan, dan transport material berlangsung dengan sempurna. Untuk mengetahui dan memastikan kinerja alat yang beroperasi yaitu alat mill fan berfungsi dengan baik maka dilakukan perhitungsn efisiensi. Perhitungan efisiensi mill fan yang didapatkan dari data 10 hari berturut-turut dari Central Control Room (CCR) adalah 70,01%,72,00%,70,88%,72,00%,73,14%. Terjadi kenaikan dan penurunan efisiensi ini disebabkan oleh bedanya jumlah produksi semen tiap hari dan speed impeller yang rendah. Abstract PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk, is a company that produces cement located in several areas on the island of South Sumatra and one of its largest factories is located in the Baturaja area, Ogan Komering Ulu. PT Semen Baturaja has several stages, namely: the mining process, the grinding and drying process of raw materials, the raw meal burning process, the clinker grinding process, and the cement bagging process. At the stage of grinding the clinker occurs in the cement mill. The cement mill tool is assisted by a mill fan which functions to generate air flow in the mill air flow system so that the milling process, moisture reduction, separation, and material transport take place perfectly. To find out and ensure the performance of the operating tool, namely the mill fan, is functioning properly, an efficiency calculation is carried out. The calculation of mill fan efficiency obtained from 10 consecutive days of data from the Central Control Room (CCR) is 70,01%,72,00%,70,88%,72,00%,73,14% The increase and decrease in efficiency is caused by the difference in the amount of cement production each day and the low impeller speed
