<![CDATA[Abstract Land certificates have an important meaning and role for the holder of the rights to the land in question, and also function as evidence in the legality of land ownership. This study aims to analyze the legal force against holders of land rights with multiple certificates in the Negative Registration System with a Positive Tendency in Indonesia, to analyze the legal consequences of implementing a Negative Registration System with a Positive Tendency on Double Certificates in Indonesia. In this study using normative legal research methods, in which the research includes a process to find a rule of law, legal principles, and legal doctrines to answer the legal problems faced. The type of research approach used is the statutory approach and the legal concept analysis approach. The results of the research achieved by the author That the power of law against holders of land rights in the event that there are multiple certificates related to the application of a negative land registration system which has a positive tendency in Indonesia, the strength of proof of certificates of land rights resulting from land registration using a negative system which has a positive tendency is not absolute. Whereas the legal consequences of implementing a negative registration system with a positive tendency towards multiple certificates in Indonesia can make it possible for landowners who are listed in the certificate of land rights to face lawsuits from people who feel entitled or feel they also have rights over the land.Keywords: Legal Protection, Land Registration System, Multiple Certificates Abstrak Sertipikat tanah mempunyai arti dan peranan yang penting bagi pemegang hak atas tanah yang bersangkutan, dan juga berfungsi sebagai alat bukti dalam legalitas kepemilikan tanah. Jenis Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pendekatan perundang-perundangan dan pendekatan analisis konsep hukum. Hasil penelitian yang dicapai penulis Bahwa kekuatan hukum terhadap pemegang hak atas tanah dalam hal terdapat sertipikat ganda terkait dengan penerapan sistem pendaftaran tanah negatif yang bertendensi positif di Indonesia kekuatan pembuktian sertipikat hak atas tanah yang dihasilkan dari pendaftaran tanah dengan menggunakan sistem negatif yang bertendensi positif adalah bersifat tidak mutlak. Bahwa akibat hukum penerapan sistem pendaftaran negatif bertendensi positif terhadap sertipikat ganda di Indonesia dapat membuat pemilik tanah yang tercantum dalam sertipikat hak atas tanah dapat memungkinkan untuk menghadapi gugatan dari orang yang merasa berhak atau merasa juga memiliki hak atas tanah tersebut.
