<![CDATA[Abstrac Settlement of bankruptcy assets is when the bankrupt debtor's assets will be sold to pay off the debtor's debts to creditors. This arrangement can be carried out by auction or private sale with the approval of the supervisory judge. Bankruptcy cases can be resolved within different periods of time.This study aims to find out what factors slow down or speed up the process of dealing with bankruptcy assets. This research was conducted using normative juridical methods. The research results state that there are several factors that speed up the process of settling bankruptcy assets such as the form of assets, curator connections in selling bankruptcy assets, and the application of the going concern principle to increase bankruptcy assets. There are also factors that slow down the process of settling bankruptcy assets such as valuation of asset prices, assets that are considered difficult to sell, community economic factors, and others.Keywords: Settlement, bankrupt.Abstrak Pemberesan harta pailit adalah saat dimana aset-aset debitor pailit akan dijual untuk membayar utang debitor terhadap kreditor. Pemberesan tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan lelang ataupun penjualan dibawah tangan atas persetujuan hakim pengawas. Perkara-perkara kepailitan dapat selesai dengan kurun waktu yang berbeda-beda.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang memperlambat ataupun mempercepat proses pemberesan harta pailit. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode yuridis normatif. Hasil Penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempercepat proses pemberesan harta pailit seperti bentuk aset, koneksi kurator dalam penjualan harta pailit, dan penerapan asas going concern untuk meningkatkan harta pailit. Terdapat juga faktor yang memperlambat proses pemberesan harta pailit seperti penilaian harga aset, aset yang dinilai sulit untuk dijual, faktor ekonomi masyarakat, dan lainnya.Kata Kunci: Pemberesan, pailit.]]>
