This was due to the high price of sound system equipment sold on the market. This causes not everyone to be able to buy it or have the band equipment because most of those who have a hobby of playing bands are the younger generation.The formulation of the problem in this research is "What are the factors that cause the tenant not to pay the rent in the rental agreement for the sound system equipment to the owner of JB sound system?". The purpose of this study is to obtain data and information on the implementation of the responsibilities of the tenant in the rental agreement for the sound system equipment to the owner of JB Soundsystem in South Pontianak District, to reveal the factors that cause the tenants of the house to not pay the rent in the rental agreement. soundsystem against the owner of JB Soundsystem, to disclose the legal consequences for the tenant of the house who has not paid the rent payment in the rental agreement of the soundsystem equipment to the owner of JB Soundsystem, and to reveal the efforts made by the owner of JB Soundsystem against the tenant who has not made the payment of the rent payment in the rental agreement for the sound system equipment. The method used in this study is an empirical legal research method. This research is descriptive analysis.The results of the analysis of the study are that in practice there are still delays in paying the rent for band equipment and sound systems, so the music rental owner gives a verbal warning or reprimand to the tenant by providing a payment deadline for tenants who do not pay. The factor that causes the tenants to not carry out their responsibilities in paying the remaining rent is because the money that should be used to pay the remaining payment for the sound system rental is used to pay other vendors such as building vendors. The legal consequence for the tenant of the house who has not paid the rent in the rental agreement for the sound system equipment to the owner of JB Soundsystem is that the tenant must pay compensation and pay off the remaining payment for the rental of the sound system equipment. To overcome the problems that arise, the Sound System Equipment rental party gives a warning, provides a grace period for the payment of the remaining Sound System Equipment rental, accompanied by compensation for damage and Sound System Equipment maintenance costs so that the musical instrument in question can be used by other rented parties.Keywords: Tenants, Rent, Soundsystem Abstrak Bisnis penyewaan alat sound system semakin berkembang tidak terkecuali di Kecamatan Pontianak Selatan. Bisnis ini muncul karena banyaknya orang yang membutuhkan barang tersebut, Hal ini disebabkan karena mahalnya harga alat - alat soundsystem yang di jual di pasaran. Sehingga menyebabkan tidak semua orang juga mampu membelinya atau memiliki alat band tersebut karena sebagian besar yang memiliki hobi bermain band adalah kalangan generasi muda.Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “Faktor Apa Yang Menyebabkan Penyewa Tidak Melunasi Pembayaran Uang Sewa Dalam Perjanjian Sewa Menyewa Alat Soundsystem Terhadap Pemilik JB Soundsystem?”. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan data dan informasi pelaksanaan tanggung jawab pihak penyewa dalam perjanjian sewa menyewa alat soundsystem kepada pemilik JB Soundsystem di Kecamatan Pontianak Selatan, untuk mengungkapkan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan penyewa rumah belum melaksanakan pelunasan pembayaran uang sewa dalam perjanjian sewa menyewa alat soundsystem terhadap pemilik JB Soundsystem, untuk mengungkapkan akibat hukum bagi penyewa rumah yang belum melaksanakan pelunasan pembayaran uang sewa dalam perjanjian sewa menyewa alat soundsystem terhadap pemilik JB Soundsystem, dan untuk mengungkapkan upaya yang dilakukan pemilik JB Soundsystem terhadap pihak penyewa yang belum melaksanakan pelunasan pembayaran uang sewa dalam perjanjian sewa menyewa alat soundsystem.. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian hukum empiris. Penelitian ini bersifat analisis deskriptif.Hasil analisis dari penelitian tersebut adalah bahwa dalam prakteknya masih ada keterlambatan dalam membayar uang sewa alat band dan sound system, sehingga pemilik rental musik memberikan peringatan atau teguran secara lisan kepada pihak penyewa dengan memberikan batas waktu pembayaran bagi penyewa yang tidak membayar. Faktor yang menyebabkan penyewa tidak melaksanakan tanggung jawabnya dalam pembayaran sisa sewa karena disebabkan uang yang seharusnya digunakan untuk membayar sisa pembayaran sewa alat soundsystem digunakan untuk membayar vendor lain seperti vendor gedung. Akibat hukum bagi penyewa rumah yang belum melaksanakan pelunasan pembayaran uang sewa dalam perjanjian sewa menyewa alat soundsystem terhadap pemilik JB Soundsystem adalah pihak penyewa harus membayar ganti rugi dan melunasi pembayaran sisa sewa alat sounsystem. untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang timbul pihak penyewaan Alat Sound System melakukan teguran, memberikan tenggang waktu atas pembayaran sisa sewa Alat Sound System, di sertai dengan pergantian kerugian atas kerusakan dan biaya perawatan Alat Sound System agar alat musik yang dimaksud kembali dapat digunakan oleh pihak lain menyewa.Kata Kunci : Penyewa, Sewa Menyewa, Soundsystem]]>
