ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis ada tidaknya pengaruh kompetensi dan motivasi kerja terhadap pengembangan karir karyawan pada CV. Agung Motor Cianjur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif-asosiatif dan menggunakan metode survey Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan CV Agung Motor Cianjur sebanyak 119 responden yang didapat dan diolah datanya, menggunakan teknik sampling probability sampling dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan 5%. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis uji regresi berganda, uji persyaratan analisis, dan uji asumsi klasik dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengembangan karir karyawan dan motivasi kerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap pengembangan karir karyawan serta kompetensi dan motivasi kerja secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengembangan karir karyawan.ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine and analyze whether there is influence of competency and work motivation on employee career development at CV. Grand Motor Cianjur. This study uses a descriptive-associative quantitative approach. The theory used includes career development theory according to Priansa (2020), competency theory according to Edy Sutrisno (2019), and motivation theory according to Afandi (2018) and uses a survey method. Respondents in this study were employees of CV Agung Motor Cianjur as many as 119 respondents whose data were obtained and processed, using a probability sampling technique by taking samples using the slovin formula with an error rate of 5%. Data analysis techniques used multiple regression analysis, requirements analysis test, and classical assumption test using the SPSS 26 application. The results showed that competency partially had a positive and significant effect on employee career development and work motivation partially had no positive and significant effect on development. employee career as well as competency and work motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on employee career development.
