<![CDATA[Joged Nini becomes the identity of Buruan Village, Tabanan Regency. Explicitly, the meaning formed from joged nini is not just dance. However, the complexity of art, including dance, voice and dance movements, is an important structure in this tradition. All of these elements imply meanings that are interesting to study further. There are many messages about social life contained therein. It makes Joged Nini in Tabanan Village receive an award as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. This research specializes in Discourse fromGending presented in this tradition. It is not just a discourse but is driven by social interests that the community can live up to. This study uses critical discourse analysis from Teun A. Van Dijk. At least it views discourse as a dimensional object consisting of three elements: text, social cognition, and context. The analysis techniques used are description, interpretation and explanation.
