KANDUNGAN PROTEIN KASAR, ADF DAN NDF RUMPUT GAJAH PASCA PEMBERIAN PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR (URIN KAMBING DAN LIMBAH BUAH)

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan protein kasar, ADF dan NDF rumput gajah pasca pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC) dengan dosis berbeda. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu stek rumput gajah, mengkudu, kulit pisang kepok, kulit nanas, tomat dan gula merah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan dibedakan berdasarkan dosis pupuk organik cair yang diberikan adalah P1 = stek rumput gajah tanpa pupuk, P2 = stek rumput gajah + POC 150ml/polybag, P3 = stek rumput gajah + POC 300 ml/polybag dan P4 = stek rumput gajah + POC 450 ml/polybag. Variabel yang diamati adalah kandungan protein kasar, ADF dan NDF rumput gajah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rataan kandungan protein kasar berada pada kisaran P1=10,21%; P2=12,48%; P3=13,26%; P4=14,26%. Rataan kandungan ADF berada pada kisaran P4=34,57%; P3=35,00%; P2=36,41% dan P1=36,99%. Rataan kandungan NDF berada pada kisaran P1=57,27; P3=61,98; P2=65,61 dan P4=63,53%. Analisis ragam menunjukkan pemberian POC dosis berbeda memberikan pengaruh yang nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kandungan protein kasar dan kandungan NDF dan tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata (P>0,05) pada kandungan ADF rumput gajah. Kesimpulan semakin besar dosis pupuk yang diberikan maka kandungan protein kasar dan kandungan NDF semakin meningkat dan sebaliknya menurunkan kandungan ADF pada umur potong 60 hari. Dosis POC terbaik adalah 450ml/polybag. ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to determine the crude protein content, ADF, and NDF of elephant grass after giving liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) with different doses. The materials used in the study were elephant grass cuttings, noni, kepok banana skin, pineapple skin, tomatoes, and brown sugar. The method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which consisted of 4 treatments and 3 replications. Treatments were differentiated based on the doses LOF given P1 = elephant grass cuttings without fertilizer, P2= elephant grass cuttings + LOF 150 ml/polybag, P3= elephant grass cuttings + LOF 300 ml/polybag, P4= elephant grass cuttings + LOF 450 ml/polybag. The variables observed were crude protein content, ADF, and NDF. The results showed that the average crude protein content in the range of P1=10.21%; P2=12.48%; P3=13.26%; and P4=14.26%. The average ADF was in the range P4 = 34.57%; P3=35.00%; P2=36.41% and P1=36.99%. The average NDF was in the range of kisaran P1=57.27; P3=61.98; P2=65.61 and P4=63.53%. Analysis of variance showed that given LOF different doses had a significant effect (P<0.05) on crude protein content and NDF content and had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the ADF content of elephant grass. The conclusion of the research results is the greater the dose of fertilizer given, the crude protein content and NDF content increase, and conversely lowering the ADF content at 60 days of cutting age. The best LOF dosage is 450ml/polybag.
