<![CDATA[Abstract Law enforcement officials, especially POLRI, carry out broad, complex and complicated tasks. They have an important position, in the court environment they serve as investigators. Investigation is a process to find evidence that supports a crime and to find the suspect. The purpose of this study was to find out information and data on criminal law enforcement in the process of investigating narcotics crimes in Sekadau District. This research uses the type of empirical legal research and qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that based on data from table 2 and table 3, that investigators from the Sekadau District Police, especially the Narcotics Investigation Unit, are not yet professional in carrying out the investigation process.Keywords : criminal law enforcement, investigation, narcotics. Abstrak Aparat penegak hukum khususnya POLRI mengemban tugas yang luas, kompleks dan rumit. Mereka punya posisi penting, dalam lingkungan Pengadilan bertugas sebagai penyidik. Penyidikan adalah suatu proses untuk mencari bukti-bukti yang menguatkan suatu tindak pidana serta mencari tersangkanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui informasi dan dan data terhadap penegakan hukum pidana dalam proses penyidikan tindak pidana narkotika di Kabupaten Sekadau. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian hukum empiris dan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan yang berdasarkan data dari tabel 2 dan tabel 3, bahwa penyidik dari Polres Kabupaten Sekadau khususnya Satuan Reserse Narkoba belum profesional dalam melakukan proses penyidikan.Kata Kunci : penegakan hukum pidana, penyidikan, narkotika.]]>
