<![CDATA[Literary works are the author's reflection of the life of reality. This study aims to determine the intrinsic and extrinsic elements contained in the short story "School Theft" by Portgas D Fahri with a mimetic and objective approach. The method used in this study is through qualitative descriptive analysis with a mimetic and objective approach in literary works. The data analysis technique used is to read and observe short stories, collect data, describe, and draw conclusions from the results of the study. The results showed that there are values of life reality in the form of social reality, the reality of life struggle, the reality of the real world contained in the short story "School Theft" with a mimetic approach. The conclusion of this study is that there is a phenomenon of reality values in short stories, in the form of bad experiences when entering a new school for the figure of "me".]]>
