AbstrakInvestasi merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam menopang perekonomian suatu Negara, baik atau tidaknya iklim investasi pada suatu Negara berbanding lurus terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Negara tersebut. Sejak awal, undang-undang pokok agraria 1960 telah mengatur bahwa orang asing hanya berhak memperoleh hak pakai dan hak sewa untuk bangunan. kepuasan konsumen menjadi hal penting dalam memenuhi permintaan atas kebutuhan konsumen sebagai pengguna jasa pengembang perumahan. Konsumen perumahan berhak mendapatkan produk konstruksi yang sesuai dengan keinginan sebagaimana tertuang dalam brosur yang ditawarkan/dijanjikan oleh pihak pengembang. Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 2011 tentang Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman dan Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2011 tentang Rumah Susun telah sejalan dengan semangat perlindungan konsumen sebagaimana diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindugan konsumen dimana, dalam kedua UU tersebut, dimana setiap orang berhak pengajuan gugatan perwakilan ke pengadilan terhadap penyelenggaraan perumahan dan kawasan permukiman atau rumah susun yang merugikan masyarakat.Kata Kunci: Investasi, UU No 1 Tahun 2011, Perlindungan KonsumenAbstractInvestment is one of the important factors in sustaining a country's economy, whether or not the investment climate in a country is directly proportional to economic growth in that country. Since its inception, the 1960 Basic Agrarian Law has stipulated that foreigners are only entitled to use rights and lease rights for buildings. consumer satisfaction is important in meeting the demand for consumer needs as users of housing  eveloper services. Housing consumers have the right to obtain construction products according to their wishes as stated in the brochure offered/promised by the developer. Law Number 1 of 2011 concerning Housing and Residential Areas and Law Number 20 of 2011 concerning Flats are in line with the spirit of consumer protection as stipulated in Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection where, in both laws, where Everyone has the right to submit a representative lawsuit to the court against the implementation of housing and residential areas or flats that are detrimental to the community.Keywords: Investment, Law No. 1 of 2011, Consumer Protection
