Abstract

PENGARUH METODE  BERCERITA BERBANTUAN MEDIA GAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERBAHASA ANAK DI TK   I Ketut DibiaUniversitas Pendidikan Ganesha Singarajaketutdibia@yahoo.com  ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) kemampuan berbahasa anak yang tidak dibelajarkan dengan metode bercerita berbantuan media gambar, (2) kemampuan berbahasa anak yangdibelajarkan dengan metode bercerita berbantuan media gambar, dan (3) perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan berbahasaantara kelompok anak yang tidak dibelajarkan dengan metode bercerita berbantuan media gambar dan kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan metode bercerita berbantuan media gambar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain  non equivalent post test only with control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anak di TK Kelurahan Banjar Tegal. Sampel penelitian ini adalah anak di TK Eka Dharma sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan anak di TK Negeri Banjar Tegal sebagai kelompok kontrol yang dipilih dengan sistem clusterrandom sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode tes. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa: (1) kemampuan berbahasa kelompok anak yang tidak dibelajarkan dengan metode bercerita berbantuan media gambar cenderung rendah, (2) kemampuan berbahasa kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan dengan metode bercerita berbantuan media gambarcenderung tinggi, (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan berbahasaantara kelompok anak yang tidak dibelajarkan dengan metode bercerita berbantuan media gambar dan kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan metode bercerita berbantuan media gambar.Kata kunci: kemampuan berbahasa, metode bercerita, media gambar.  ABSTRACT This study aims to determine: (1) children's language skills that are not taught by the method of storytelling assisted by media images, (2) the language abilities of children who are taught by the method of storytelling assisted by media images, and (3) a significant difference in the the language abilities between groups of children who are not taught with the method of storytelling assisted by media images and the group of children who are taught the method of storytelling assisted by media images. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design using non equivalent post test only with control group design. The population in this study were children in kindergarten Banjar Tegal Village. The sample of this study were children in Eka Dharma Kindergarten as an experimental group and children in the Banjar Tegal kindergerten as a control group selected by the cluster random sampling system. Data collected using the test method. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistics (t-test). The results of this study found that: (1) the language skills of groups of children who were not taught by the method of media-assisted storytelling tend to be low, (2) the language skills of groups of children who were taught by the method of media-assisted storytelling tend to be high, (3) there were significant differences the ability between groups of children who are not taught by the method of storytelling assisted by media images and groups of children who are taught the method of storytelling assisted by the media of images.Keywords:language ability, storytelling method, image media.
